| In addition, we explore how the architect’s specification of aluminum, wood, and vinyl window frames affects the environment around us. We’ll discuss sources for raw materials, renewable resources, recycled content, energy consumption and pollution during material extraction and window production, annual energy consumption after building occupancy, and what happens to the window after its useful life is over. |
